Your role

In 2024, we moved to our new, modern location in Amsterdam-Noord. With our growing organisation and state-of-the-art production facilities, we're looking for a structured, professional approach to our technical and facility processes.

As our Technical Facility Officer, you're responsible for the technical side of our facility operations. You make sure internal teams are well-supported in areas like housing, building management, facility projects, workplace management, and contract oversight. You report to the Head of Facility & Hospitality, work closely with our Technical Production Officer, and manage external suppliers.

Your key tasks

• First point of contact for technical issues across the organisation
• Planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, installations, lab equipment, and facilities
• Overseeing the multi-year maintenance plan (MJOP), budgets, and contracts
• Coordinating energy management, sustainability projects, and contributing to policies and protocols
• Managing the FMIS system (Ultimo)
• Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards; supporting audits and certifications (including ISO 9002)

What you bring

You're highly organised, flexible, and thrive on juggling multiple priorities. You know when to delegate and lead naturally.

You also have:

• A bachelor's degree (HBO) in a technical field
• Experience in a similar role or with a maintenance management organisation
• Strong Dutch communication skills (written and spoken) and basic English
• A good understanding of organisational structures and processes
• Skills in complaint handling, contract management, and project management
• Experience with FMIS systems, such as Ultimo
• A hands-on, structured, and proactive approach
