1. Fleet Statutory Certification Expert

The role

You will be responsible for supporting Captains and Vessel Superintendents with everything related to surveys and certification.

Your main responsibilities are:

• To keep the certificate module up-to-date at all times with the most recent versions of certificates.
• To maintain the certificate database, including its library of certificates, in an accurate manner.
• Maintaining internal staff's access to the Class databases.
• Preparing a weekly survey planner for the guidance of the Vessel Superintendents.
• Requesting first Flag certificates for a new build or for newly purchased second-hand ships.
• Maintaining relations with Service Suppliers, which includes meetings at the office and using this network for solving any problems with services and/or products, and to negotiate good commercial agreements.

Your profile

• Knowledge of Class and Flag State Matters at associate work and reasoning level.
• Experience in shipping is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS office software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing (Dutch and English).
