HR Advisor

As an HR Advisor, you will act as a trusted partner to management and employees, providing expert advice and support on a broad range of HR topics. You will play a key role in ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in compliance with employment legislation. Your focus will be on driving a positive employee experience, supporting business objectives, and contributing to the development of a strong, people-focused culture.

As an HR Advisor, you will:

• Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
• Support managers with employee relations cases, including performance management, absence, and disciplinary matters.
• Assist in the implementation of HR strategies that support business goals.
• Advise on recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
• Support change management processes and organizational development projects.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics, providing insights to improve people practices.
• Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices across departments.
• Keep up to date with legislative changes and HR trends to proactively advise the business.
• Structurize processes to improve efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.

• At least 5 years of experience in an HR Advisor, generalist, or business partner role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Solution-oriented with a hands-on and proactive approach.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, scale-up environment and able to navigate change effectively.
• You need to have a permit to work in the Nethelands
• You need to be able to commute to Amsterdam (at least 3 times per week)
