This is an all-round HR role where you will be providing HR guidance and support to the team in the European headquarters in Amsterdam and sales teams in Waardenburg and Belgium. Based in the Amsterdam office are teams of , IT, Finance, HR, Global Procurement, Supply Chain, European Marketing and Sales for our Growing Solutions business and part of our Industrial Products organization. You will drive the achievement of our business goals through workforce development.
About the role
As the HRM you are responsible to support and advise the management regarding the full Employee Life Cycle with your hands-on approach. You will advise / guide them with suitable actions and base your advice on your HR professionalism, policies and guidelines, ethics, efficiency, uniformity, timing, budget and aspects.
You will also be responsible to develop the talent in our business with the annual HR processes, like onboarding, performance management, training needs, annual cycles like compensation along with the COE's. You will also lead and structure key organizational changes within the sites including effective change and communication management. You will work together & partner with the Business leaders on people topics as absenteeism, sickness management, employment relations.
You will be the point of contact for the local works council and drive the engagement process with relevant topics.
You will work together with all stakeholders global and local in the business and with the support of your HR colleagues from Total Rewards, Learning & Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and HR Operations. It is important that you are comfortable to work in and navigate a complex matrix structure effectively.
About you
We are looking for an experienced HR professional that is a great addition to our team, delivering value to our employees and be able to act as a business partner. To be successful you bring:
- Human Resources skills (field's concepts, practices and procedures).
- 7+ years of experience with key experience as HR Business Partner.
- Experience in an international and multicultural environment.
- Experience with HR Information systems, like SuccessFactors, is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Dutch labor law, compliance, and employment regulations.
- Ability to act as sparring partner for senior business management.
- High interpersonal communication and influencing skills and the ability to interact well at all levels, displays tact and diplomacy, high sense of integrity and is valued as confident.
- Decision making, problem solving, flexibility and creativity.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable with a strong "get things done" mentality.
- Fluent in English and Dutch
