    Financial Controller

In this position, you will work closely with the Operational Director to ensure smooth day-to-day financial tasks, and offer clear financial insights to guide the strategic decisions of the organization.     About the Role

    As the sole Financial Controller at Oaklins, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of our financial operations. From accounting and financial reporting to regulatory compliance, you will ensure our financial systems run smoothly. Your work will have a direct influence on the company's financial strategies, helping our leadership team make informed decisions based on accurate and timely financial data.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Financial Operations : Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, entering transactions, generating invoices, processing employee expenses, and managing payments.

    2. Financial Reporting & Analysis : Produce and analyze financial reports, summaries, and forecasts. Prepare year-end financial statements and budgets, and provide financial insights to support key business decisions.

    3. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with VAT returns and other regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls and procedures.

    Who You Are

    • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial operations or accounting roles, ideally in the financial services or consulting industry.

    • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial management software, including Exact software.

    • You have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • You are detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
