Where will you work?

What will you do?

In this role, you will be responsible for processing customs documents for both import and export shipments. You will work closely with various internal and external parties to ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to the applicable rules. Good organisation and accuracy are essential in this role.

• Preparation and checking of customs documents;
• Making and verifying certain NVWA certificates;
• Carrying out various quality checks to meet legal requirements;
• Support colleagues on customs matters;
• Liaise with customers, internal departments and customs;
• Actively contribute to improving processes and ensuring quality.

What do you bring?

Our preference is for a starter or someone with a few years of experience, but we like to look at people. Are you hugely driven in the field of customs and convinced of your knowledge and skills, we would like to invite you to apply. You will work at our Oosterhout office in a small team of experienced colleagues and work closely with other departments.

A completed Assistant Declarant training from EVO / FENEX or willingness to take it. We offer you the opportunity to grow within our company! In this position You will have the space to learn all about customs declarations and other relevant issues under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

You possess:

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level;
• Enthusiasm for logistics and especially the customs section;
• Some knowledge/experience in preparing export documents;
• Some knowledge/experience in making import declarations is a plus;
• Stress-resistant and committed, with good focus in a dynamic work environment;
• Good communication skills;
• Mastery of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing.
