    Manager Asset performance. What does it entail?

    The Manager Asset Performance is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and production-related installations at both the Roermond and Maasvlakte locations. You will develop the strategic maintenance policy and oversee its implementation. You act as the point of contact for various external parties regarding the maintenance of primary assets and installations. Additionally, you play a significant facilitating role in the execution of internal modification and investment projects. You maintain close contact with external parties such as suppliers, certification bodies, and consultancy firms, as well as with management and the internal organization.

    • Develops and establishes operational, tactical, and strategic policies, including a multi-year plan concerning budgets, innovations, process improvements, and technical developments, and seeks approval from the COO;
    • Creates a long-term plan and ensures the availability of capacity and resources required for the work to be carried out. Monitors budget, progress, quality, and capacity;
    • Conducts analyses for investment decisions, taking into account costs, returns, priorities, and feasibility for the company;
    • Prepares investment proposals for management.
    • Advises and supports with order preparations and conversions within their area of focus;
    • Supports Facilities in major projects (including renovation, refurbishment, or new construction) and ensures the maintenance of production machines, installations, and inventory;
    • Arranges for research by external parties to obtain or expand machine and installation safety certifications;
    • Maintains accurate records and provides management with control information and reports;
    • Manages assigned budgets and proposes cost control measures.

At Sif, you'll make a direct impact on the energy transition and contribute to a greener world.The Maintenance department is responsible for the optimal functioning of primary production machinery and associated installations at our locations. This primarily involves large, complex machines and installations (such as rollers, various high-volume welding machines, milling machines, roll racks, large overhead cranes, air systems, and water handling systems), which are largely maintained in-house. The Maintenance department also participates in internal projects and investments necessary to keep our production process up-to-date.

You know how to empower others, create connections, and foster engagement within and outside the organization.

    You possess;

    • Higher professional or university education level (HBO/WO), supplemented with knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and technical business administration;
    • Familiarity with maintenance concepts, planning methods, business cases, and budgeting;
    • Knowledge of procurement and project management for facility and civil projects;
    • Understanding of laws and regulations related to facility installations (such as gas storage, construction work);
    • Proficiency in English and German.
