My client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team as an Accounting and Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist (French speaking). The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Description

Subsidiary Accounting

• Prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for subsidiary operations.
• Provide audit support and process invoices.
• Develop cash flow projections and identify potential discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile balances and prepare receivables reports, including aging and forecasts.

Accounts Payable

• Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring proper authorization.
• Manage payments, expense reports, and vendor relations.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and ensure timely reimbursements.

Functie-eisen:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and accuracy in work.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
