Organisation Description:

The education center was established to provide quality Christian education to refugees. The mission is to equip students with Biblical worldview and academic foundation to develop a personal relationship with Christ and arise as leaders for their community and the nations. In fall 2024, the center will serve 76 students from grades 1-5 with programs for academic instruction, daily chapel, extracurricular activities (physical education, art, music) and interventional teaching.

Job Description:

The music & arts teacher will be responsible for leading music class once a week for all grades. The previous year's music curriculum will be provided as reference. If scheduling allows, the music & arts teacher will also assist small group or one-on-one tutoring for students who are struggling in their classes.

Person Description:

The teacher should aim to create a classroom environment that is engaging, emotionally supportive and community-minded. The person should be knowledgeable in their content area, have a passion for working with and discipling students, and be ready to work on behalf of the education center's missioin and its families. The person should be a compassionate team player and flexible in a new environment.
